Local CyberCorps members (from left) Trevin Shumway, Josh Tangren, Brooklyn Richards, and Lauren Keogh, shown here with adviser and middle school teacher Mike Arehart (second from left), this week headed to St. George to attend the two-day CyberCorps Boot-Up Camp at Dixie High School July 30-31. The participating students will receive training in a wide variety of computer skills, including troubleshooting problems, building a computer from scratch, and digital video editing. The students who are enrolled in the program will use their newly acquired skills to assist fellow students and teachers in the Grand County School District by helping them resolve their computer issues. Two other current CyberCorps students – Zak Hazlett and Matz Indergard – were unable to make the trip and are not pictured. Photo by Jeff Richards
